Requirements for a PhDr. degree at DTI University

To be admitted to the PhDr. program, you must have completed a degree at a recognized university with at least 120 ECTS credits in the field of economics.

You can write your thesis in German. The oral exam will also be conducted in German.

We are happy to provide students with a sample thesis and a sample presentation for their own studies at DTI University with our support.

We would be happy to advise you on the course of study in a personal consultation.

Master's degree

Danube University Krems offers university courses. Danube University Krems writes on its website: https://www.donau-uni.ac.at/de/studium/donau-uni-im-europaeischen-hochschulraum/studium-bologna-prozess.html:

“Due to a master’s degree in continuing education, admission to a doctoral program abroad cannot be expected.”

With the 2021 reform of continuing education at universities, the integration of continuing education programs into the Bologna system ensured the equivalence and mutual permeability of continuing education programs and standard programs. Individuals who have completed a continuing education master’s program (from 2021 onwards) are therefore also eligible for doctoral studies.

If you have completed your studies at Danube University Krems from 2021 onwards, we will be happy to consider your admission to the PhDr. program.

Um für ein Studium an der DTI Universität zugelassen zu werden müssen Sie über ein abgeschlossenes Masterstudium mit mindestens 120 ECTS verfügen.

As an official partner of the University, we offer you the opportunity to register for a PhDr. Doctor of Philosophy degree program through us. We will advise you in advance of your studies and answer your questions about distance learning in English. We will then forward your documents to the University for review and take care of the necessary translations and confirmations. Upon successful admission, you will be enrolled directly at the University and receive confirmation from the University. You need a recognized doctoral degree (e.g., master’s, diploma, etc.) in economics to be admitted to the PhDr. Doctor of Philosophy program.

If you are not admitted to the PhDr. program, there are no costs.
